Is it Spring yet?
I know we still have 5 weeks left before the official first day of spring, and the groundhog did see his shadow. So that unfortunately means there were 6 more weeks of winter.
But with my wedding right around the corner in Mexico, and my recent leather jacket find ( pics following this introduction) I am feening for Spring or at least "spring" temperatures. So I channeled my spring style in the winter...as an opportunity to show my recent find. 🔦
I was ecstatic when I found this Rick Owens biker jacket in a size 42, hanging on the clearance racks at Century 21 Department stores. I had already been in the store about 3 hours by then, and had 2 bins of sale items, but no leathers in my size. Until I did my second sweep! I even met a fellow follower who came to the store because of my Insta-stories showing the size 38 leather jacket for $175!
I have owned a number of avant garde Rick Owens pieces ( my fave being a coat that literally could be mistaken for a down comforter), but never a staple leather of his.
Love the Peplum shape to enhance the rear. 🙂
My sister gifted me this Balenciaga for Christmas. Word is she had to fight another lady who was eyeing this bag. Obviously my sister won for me!
The Adidas Ultra boost is without a doubt one of the most versatile sneakers I have owned. I am sure you can tell from the wear.
From a comfort standpoint, not many sneakers can compare; the ultra boost is amazingly comfy for casual wear and athletics. From an aesthetic standpoint, it has a beautiful silhouette, a shape that can be worn with practically any outfit. A general rule is you want some tapered, cropped, or rolled jeans to show off the sneaker, dresses (as I have styled with) also work amazingly well. The all white ultra boost are a staple; I honestly didn't realize they were that cool.

Rick Owens jackets have a great drape that lay effortlessly when worn open.
I like the ribbed knit on the underarm, it makes it easier to scrunch up the sleeves.
