Chunky Knits + Vestiaire Collective
I love those winter days that are mild enough that I can wear a oversized knit. These sweaters are just as warm as wearing a wool coat. I ideally wear a oversized sweater with skinny or cropped jeans; paired with sock boots.
This sweater is also great paired with a pleated skirt, t-shirt, teddy coat and white sneakers.
I am a girl who tends to be daring with the shoes and slipped on some fancy satin mules as I rushed through the door on a Fall day. These mules were my first purchase from the website Vestiaire Collective.
For those not aware this is a website where you can buy and sell luxury fashion items. They started in 2009 as a company in France, and most recently have started making a bigger impact in the US. I heard about the company about 3 years ago, but it was really hard to navigate and most of the sellers wrote in French. I had been searching for these Balenciaga knife shoes for quite some time and took a chance. I love the comment feed under the product where you can see questions and answers on the item selling. You also get a great synopsis on the seller on each product page. These were brand new with box, and over 50% off! Once purchased, Vestiaire Collective does require the seller to send the product to them for inspection. This does extend the delivery process, and it took 10 days to receive. However it helps build confidence in the purchase for the buyer.
Small details add character to an outfit and I adore the OVERDRESSED embroidered on these jeans; speaks to me to a tee.
