Sale Review: Global Fashions

I had the chance to get a first day look into the Global Fashions sample sale that began Sunday, October 29th. The sale was advertised as a Anya Hindmarch sample sale, but it was a pleasant surprise to see various other brands they distribute there. 

I arrived at the sale about 30 minutes before the door was scheduled to open to a line of about 10. You could see the selection through the window. Bags and shoes must be checked and no photography is allowed. Hence, why no live access on my Instagram. The Anya Hindmarch merchandise was limited to a display in the front and included SLG, bags, and shoes. All items were a straight 75% Off the marked price. All merchandise I recognized from the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 collections by the brand. See below for a few items that were spotted.

This fur stood amongst the RTW. The orange striped tote and Bathurst in small were available. 

The Men at Work tote, clutch and Bathurst in small were also in stock.  Novelty box clutches that said “Slow Down” and the wrigleys gum logo was priced at $375. Knee high boots and sneakers can be found in various sizes. You will need to ask for your size.

Also at the sale was a abundance of Valentino accessories, bags, shoes and clothing. Most were priced 75% off, RTW at 80%off. I do recommend inspecting the items as some bags and shoes were damaged and missing stones. The seasons of styles were varied. But I did see many items you can still find in Saks Off Fifth for only 50-55% Off. I am also happy to report I spotted rockstuds but only in sizes 34.5, 37, and 37.5 But I was told more inventory is left to be sorted and added to the sale assortment.

Lastly their were RTW tops, bottoms, dresses and outwear by designers such as Valentino, Missoni, Piazza Simone, and more... 

Bottom line; I wish there was more Anya Hindmarch items to choose from, especially the smaller accessories. However if you are in the city and have time, you may be lucky to find a piece or two. I am told more Anya Hindmarch inventory should arrive on Tuesday. So I may swing by again.
