Polka Dots have always been chic

Polka dots are not a new trend to the scene but it has steadily re-emerged to the forefront this past year. These dots are a classic in the fashion industry making a constant comeback. Online searches by consumers has increased by 120% according to global fashion search platform Lyst . And lets not forget the infamous polka dot dress from Zara that has been seen on practically everyone, because the style fits a variety of shapes. It has its own Instagram page. Plus, it looked pretty amazing on!

I personally have worn this print for many years, and it was one of the few standout prints I was able to pull off during maternity. I like to wear it because it does not ties into a particular season or era and works for all ages. The new colorways that have appeared in the past years put a fresh new twist on it.
