Velvet + Marigold

You guys already know how I feel about my sets.

I was obsessing all fall about a velvet suit. As per usual,  everything I wanted came with a hefty price tag. However,  fast forward to November and I was able to find this wide leg pants on boohoo.com. Then after hours (okay not hours it was in the You May Also Like section) found the coordinating jacket. 

The emerald green color really pops against my skin tone. And I was looking for something to pair my bodysuit from Forever 21 with; that I could confidently walk out in and not risk any nip action. Hey! We are friends here, and I’m just being honest.

The fit runs accurately true to size. In hindsight I would have gotten the jacket one size bigger for the loose fit I’m currently drawn to.

Any velvet pieces you are crushing on right now? Do we think this fabrication is here to stay for spring?
