Sale Review: Simon Miller
A few sales have opened their doors for the weekend of 7/15. My first stop was Simon Miller. This was my first time attending the brands sale. For those not familiar with the brand; SIMON MILLER was founded on the principles of Japanese fabrication and modern American craftsmanship. SIMON MILLER launched in 2008 as a men’s denim brand and in 2014 evolved into a lifestyle brand. The collection now includs denim, ready-to-wear and leather accessories focuses on textural fabrics and advanced wash treatments.
The products in the sale were displayed as if you were in a curated boutique. Most of the production appeared to be from the Fall 2016 collection and sprinkled in were styles from Spring 17. Assorted by style and colors; I loved the burgundy, deep blues and mustard yellow offerings. I saw alot of pieces that would be great once you begin to break out those transitional pieces for Fall. The tshirts had this piling effect that felt soft to touch, and I really liked. But I was hesitant about a $50 T-shirt and left it.
The brands popular Bonsai bag was available in a mini and 20cm size. At $200 and $300 respectively.
Upon entrance I was greeted with a cohesive sale price chart. The discounts, as seen below weren't that high or what I normally expect at sample sales. However, If you are a true fan of the brand I would recommend taking a visit.
Men Tip: If you are looking for this brands jeans go to the Craft Atlantic sample sale where they are only $40!!!
