Not so long ago I possessed a Cambridge Satchel in a crisp white color, that I cherished during the summer months. However to my dismay, my BF despised this bag and I'm really not sure why. Men and their lack of fashion innovation at times; I guess :(

However, I must admit I do lack in the care department and this bag is now a faint memory as I left it a Beacons Closet last summer.

With my nails white is definitely going to be my go to color ( Rouge NYC did a great white on white nail pattern for me), along with my new-found interest of exploring wearing the scary white pant which I despised for so long ( we will leave that for another post). For now lies the void of a good white purse as the official beginning of Summer happened this past weekend. White colored handbags just give a off a elegance, softness, chicness and sophistication against summer bright and pastel clothing. They also look chic in a all white ensemble.

The design and price of my next handbag will be important factors. My favorite ones are the structured bags; either tiny or medium sized. They look rich & luxurious. Clean. Summer-ish. I would like a sophisticated stiffness, reminiscent to my Cambridge Satchel; this time though be easier to open. I am also looking for a white bag with silver hardware. Thus begins my search through stores and online for a few good variations. I have categorized them into value, contemporary, and luxury in my head. Not sure which will end up in my closet, but I will be sure to post a update to the entry once I decide.
