A Colorful Jacket to Weather a Cold Day
This winter, lets get creative with colors, textures, and shape. A coat ( and smile) can brighten up your look and help you avoid the snow-season glum.
For the day time it is best to keep the paired ensemble simple, because this coat below demands attention. I styled with light blue J Brand Skinny jeans stolen from my sister, so they were free; and converse. The converse I was able to get for $5 at DSW because I had a magical gift card from them!
I told you guys in a previous post you would see my finds pop up in outfits as oppose to just sharing. The below coat I scored at a recent 260 Sample Sale . This ELIZABETH AND JAMES 'Iris' faux fur boyfriend coat I found in the back samples section for $100. I was drawn to the pastel color and the "shag." Also, I missed many of the fur coats being 30 mins late of opening. You can still find this coat online at Shopbop.
NOTE: When you attend sample sales always dash to the samples first or check out clearance sections in full line stores.

I chose a handbag and accessories in a black/white/silver palette. My PS 11 also has hints of green that compliment the coat well. If you love my Valentino Rockstud cuff I scored at Nordstrom Rack during CTR; peek in The Finds to see a extra one I took and is for sale!
