Elizabeth & James Sample sale
Today I had the opportunity to attend a preview of the Elizabeth and James sample sale that begins tomorrow at the 260 Sample Sale, fifth avenue location.
Once I entered the preview I immediately went to the sample section which could be found in the far back of the space. There you will find one off pieces of past and current seasons. Many of the samples I picked up appeared to be in really great shape. There were a few safety pins and tape, but nothing that would deter purchasing. Of course with me arriving a hour into the event all the furs and coats were grabbed and purchased.
The associates said all samples were out and would not be replenished. Note: if you hope to snag one of the few furs left go at 10am!

After samples I took a quick look at bags and accessories which could be found near the register. My advise: skip this section. Only includes fur hats, a reversible bag for $15, and a $2 logo canvas shopper.
The stock items in the sale had prices falling within the 65-70% off range. Some key pieces that stood out to me include:
- James ostrich trimmed blazer
- India dress
- Kisa Midi dress
- Iris Shaggy Faux fur coat
- Tarra Fur coat
Did I leave the sale with anything? Of course I did snag a few sample items. I won't show pics just yet but they will definitely appear in outfit posts during the Fall 2015 season.
